At The Wren School, we are passionate that our curriculum: ’educate and support the whole student’ and as such, believe it is our responsibility to provide enrichment experiences which go beyond the classroom; thus ensuring that Better Never Stops… even after the end of Period 5.
As a result of the dedication of our staff, The Wren is proud to be able to offer a range of extracurricular activities that offer something for all students to choose from. All of the activities on our timetable are absolutely free of charge and open to all as indicated. Supported by research*, attendance at our extracurricular provision will help to:
• nurture our students through the boost in confidence that engagement with the wider community will provide;
• challenge our students, as it offers the opportunity for them to develop new skills;
• inspire them to raise their aspirations through the breadth of cultural capital and knowledge gained
Furthermore, involvement with these activities, will provide a safe space where students can have fun and relax whilst continuing to promote community cohesion as they build those very important relationships with staff and their peers.
