Students and staff were very excited today as we took delivery of the brand new school minibus – it seats 16 students, plus the driver and is wheelchair accessible – with the Wren logo all over it!
We would like to thank the Friends of Wren who very kindly donated £1,000 towards the bus. In addition, the Friends of Wren have agreed that takings from the School Lottery can be put towards the running costs of the bus.
Applicants, who have had their application to The Wren School refused, have the right to submit an appeal to The Wren School Academy Trust and/or request to be placed on a waiting list.
Contact should be made in the first instance with Mrs Lynn Smith, by telephoning 0118 959 1868, or by emailing email@example.com for further details.
Please note that applications to appeal must be received by 29th March 2018 when they are part of the normal admissions round for September 2018 for secondary places and within 20 school days from the date of the offer or refusal letter, at all other times.

Due to the health and safety of students and staff, the school will be opening at 11.00am today for the start of period 3.
Battlefields trip: all going ahead as planned! Reminder- coach pick up is on Amethyst Lane rather than at the school. Students must not come to school, please, but go straight to pick up point. If Amethyst lane is not accessible, coach will be in Liebenrood, by entrance to Amethyst.
For parents of students going on the trip tomorrow to the Battlefields: please note that Mr Le Coq is contacting the travel company; we will update you if there is any change to tomorrow’s plans
The Wren School will be closed again tomorrow (Friday) due to the health and safety of the site and the forecast weather conditions. Please check Show My Homework as I have requested staff, who are able to access it from home, to post work for your child to complete by Monday, when we assume we will be open.
